Is there a difference between 5.56 and 5.56 NATO ammo?

My barrel on my AR 15 says it is 5.56 NATO. I bought some Winchester White Box (Q3131A1) 5.56 ammo and it doesn't have the NATO cross on the head stamp. Will it be OK to shoot in my 5.56 NATO chambered AR?
