Can you be both a psychiatrist and a psychologist?

To become a psychiatrist, you must be prepared to go through medical school and then onto to specialize in psychiatry. If you have the time and the money, and the grades, go for it. If you would rather go for the "middle" go for the field of psychotherapy! It's still a lot of training and schooling, but if that's what you want--go for it!!!
