I have to create a model of a hair follicle for school to demonstrate to 3rd graders, and my group decided to use candy to represent cells. We were going to use of wet clay, but we decided they would be more interested in candy. The candy has to stick together easily, because hair is formed when the hair follicle produces new cells and the old cells are pushed outwards, and stick together to form hair. So what type of candy looks somewhat like orbs, and sticks together easily? Help please.
