I am �16,ooo in debt with going to University, somebody make me feel better please!!?

Is this a normal amount? I did not live extravagantly. I did not get housing benefit so allot went on living expenses, but god, it seems allot. Please tell me your experiences to make me feel better. I have a job for �25,ooo per year, but this is on credit cards and bank loans overdrafts!
